Steve's homework

Spending free time in front of the TV alone or with friends to watch the news, movies, or sport events, has become a habit for most people. Habitual behavior is potentially harmful because it’s passive and uninvolved. These people usually prefer indoor activities such as playing computer games and watching TV and are not eager to attend public events, study and develop family relationships. According to journal of development and behavioral pediatrics (2002), watching TV was related to weight status, the frequency of meal eating while watching TV increases over time. More than 2 hours of TV daily was a risk factor for higher weight. Undoubtedly, this could have positive and also negative influences on people’s behavior and even their health. In this essay, I would like to consider previous research carried out on this topic specifically with regard to the decrease in healthy social bonds due to television watching, and then look at ways in which we can lessen the negative aspects of the media.

Remark : I use google scholar search engine, search for TV influence. I took about 10 minutes to find out.
